Por ocasião da celebração do Dia Mundial da Justiça Social, o Ministério Público da Defesa (MPD) celebrou o trabalho que é realizado por todos os defensores públicos oficiais e pelos programas e comissões da Defensoria Geral da da Nação (DGN) para garantir o acesso efetivo à justiça para os setores mais vulneráveis. Nesta ocasião, o MPD destacou as ações realizadas pela Equipe de Trabalho Río Matanza Riachuelo e pela Equipe ACCEDER da DGN.
A Equipe Riachuelo trabalha com pessoas e comunidades afetadas pela injustiça ambiental em Cusa Mendoza da Suprema Corte de Justiça da Nação. A injustiça ambiental tem efeitos particularmente graves nos bairros e nas pessoas já afetadas por outras vulnerabilidades (condições de saúde, deficiência, falta de acesso a serviços básicos, etc.). Essas situações de pobreza estrutural são trabalhadas a partir da luta por moradia digna e tudo o que isso implica: meio ambiente saudável e oportunidades de desenvolvimento.
A atuação da Equipe Riachuelo não se limita à representação judicial dos bairros atingidos pelos processos de reurbanização da causa, mas a um trabalho mais abrangente e transdisciplinar, sempre com vistas ao melhor e mais efetivo acesso aos direitos, que parte do trabalho do bairro, em reuniões e oficinas com os vizinhos. O acesso à água, os serviços públicos, o direito à terra, a moradia digna, os serviços públicos, a saúde, a educação e a sustentabilidade desses direitos ao longo do tempo são direitos que o trabalho da Equipe busca efetivar e que, em muitos casos, tem ajudado a alcançar.
Já a Equipe ACCEDER é especializada na prestação de assessoria jurídica integral em bairros vulneráveis da Capital Federal, incluindo assessoria, patrocínio, encaminhamento responsável e atuação articulada com outras instituições de defesa de direitos. As pessoas e grupos atendidos são os mais afetados pela pobreza estrutural, desigualdade e falta de acesso a um emprego digno e estável, assim como migrantes, divergências de gênero, vítimas de violência e famílias cujos vínculos socioafetivos são afetados pela crise socioeconômica nos últimos anos. O objetivo é revisar as práticas expulsivas dos órgãos de administração da justiça, administração pública e defesa de direitos.
A ACCEDER dá especial ênfase à assistência integral para uma resolução mais eficaz dos obstáculos ao acesso a direitos, sejam eles judiciais ou extrajudiciais. Para tanto, mantém espaços de trabalho conjunto com outras instituições de defesa de direitos por meio da Rede de Prestadores de Serviços Jurídicos Gratuitos da CABA e participa da atuação interministerial dos diferentes órgãos do Poder Executivo que desempenham papel fundamental no acesso aos direitos.
Além disso, sua contribuição foi decisiva para que a DGN fizesse parte do Projeto DIMAS. A iniciativa é desenvolvida a partir de um convênio firmado com o Sindicato dos Empregados da Justiça da Nação (UEJN) e o Sindicato dos Trabalhadores da Construção Civil Argentina (UOCRA) para acompanhar as pessoas atendidas pelo MPD, especialmente jovens em conflito com o direito penal para delitos menores, para promover seu processo de reinserção social tentando evitar a entrada no sistema penitenciário.
